While searching for a career that would combine my interest in medications with my love for the human body and helping others, I found nursing. After I received my Associate’s Degree from Bunker Hill Community College, I took the state boards and became a registered nurse. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to work as a substitute school nurse in the same school district that I completed a year of clinical, while in nursing school. With the desire to learn more, I went on to receive my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Massachusetts Boston. While attending classes, I started working at a community healthcare center, Pediatric Asthma being one of my main focuses. During that time, I discovered a passion of caring for children. It’s an honor to be the nurse here at Saint Joseph School for my second year. I look forward to providing care for our students and supporting our families this healthy school year!
